He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Day and Alice Day (Cashner); his wife Lottie Waldren; and his siblings, Bernard, Carlton, Philip, Betty, Flora and Gloria.
He is survived by: his son Stewart Day; and his sister Ruth Piersall. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
