With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Smith (New London, Connecticut), who passed away on December 14, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William J. Carey and Marguerite V. Carey; her husband David B. Smith; and her brother William J. Carey Jr.. She is survived by: her sister Patricia; her brother-in-law Richard P. Quintal of Massachusetts; and her nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Leavitt, Deborah MacKenzie, Richard C. Quintal, Peter Quintal, William J. Carey III, Margaret Carey and Charles Carey.
