Thompson and Martha Thompson (Bartlett); his children, Kim Benjamin (Todd Benjamin) of Franklin, CT and Russell Thompson Jr. (Alyson Maello); his former wife Gloria Thompson of Franklin, CT; his brothers, Lester Thompson of Columbia, CT and Brother Peter Thompson (Akiko) of Hampton, CT; and his grandsons, Jake, Josh Benjamin of Franklin, CT, Luke and Logan Thompson. He was also cherished by his family and friends.
