She was predeceased by: her parents, Emilio Higuera (Inez Miranda) and Mauro O. Zaldivar; and her brother Joaquin Higuera. She is survived by: her husband Mauro; her children, Rebeca Dellaporta (Frank) and David Zaldivar (Denise); her grandsons, Taylor Zaldivar (Kylen), Christopher Dellaporta, David Zaldivar (Maddy), Joseph Dellaporta and Michael Dellaporta; and her siblings, Crucita Perez (Joaquin) of Santa Clara, Calif. and Emilio Higuera of Holguin, Cuba.
