She was predeceased by: her husband Manuel Fernandes Cortez. She is survived by: her daughter Dr. Rosa Cortes; her granddaughter Sara Rosa Cortes Schwartz; and her son-in-law Michael E. Schwartz. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
