He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Kimberly Misenti Brainard; his parents, Richard Brainard and Joan Brainard (Sapotta); his children, Christopher Brainard of Higganum, CT, Rachel Brainard of Massachusetts and Danielle Brainard of Middletown, CT; his stepchildren, Shane Kelly of Portland, CT and Katelynn; his son-in-law Anthony Puorro of Portland, CT; and his sisters, Linda (John Willmore) of Portland, CT and Susan (Peace Grimaldi) of California.
