He is survived by: his parents, Jimmy Lawson and Joyce Davis Lawson; his wife Karen Brown Lawson; his son Molique J. Lawson; his in-laws, Richard and Joyce Brown; his sister-in-law Keesha Croft; and his cousin Lisa Galloway Perry.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Byles Memorial (99 Huntington St, New London, CT 06320).
