She was predeceased by: her parents, Artis Flanders and Oreda Flanders; her children, Michael, Garry and Kimberly; and her siblings, Willie Rufus, Otis and Marvy Cowser.
She is survived by: her significant other Hosea Hurst; her children, Cheryl and Steven; her grandchildren, Anthony, Ronald Jr., Tyron, Davonte, Tishawn, Tashara, Karissa, Wesley, Marilyn and Dominick; and her siblings, Jewel, Frank (Marie) and Mozella (Michael). She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Madry Temple Church (25 Manwaring St, New London, CT 06320).
