She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin W. Mickus, Sr. and Mildred Mickus (Holmgren); her former husband Richard Lucas Jr.; her nephew Patrick Cote; her niece Kathy Gaudenzi; and her great-nephew Christopher Johns.

She is survived by: her daughters, Shawn Lucas (Paul Baldinger) of Colchester, CT and Kristi Kearney (Kevin Kearney) of Enfield, CT; her grandchildren, Mildred Baldinger, Lucas Baldinger and Patrick Kearney; her siblings, Lana Gaudenzi of Waterford, CT, Martin Mickus of Salem, CT, Pat Cote of New London, CT, Tom, Susan Mickus of East Lyme, CT, Ellen and Cal Calamari of Princeton, MA.; and her nieces, Fay Cote, Cheryl Sylvestre (Gaudenzi) and Doreen Rathbun. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and their children.
