She was predeceased by: her parents, James Archibald Kirker and Lillian Jennings Kirker; her siblings, Sue Lynch, Maryann Goulart, Nancy Baranowski, Patricia Eccleston, Evelyn Hammond, Barbara Malavenda and James Kirker III; and her former husband Paul Burgess, Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Paul Burgess (Deborah) of Gales Ferry and Jane Hogan (Daniel) of Rock Hill, SC; her grandchildren, Carrie Hopkins (David) of Gales Ferry, Lindsey Ciccalone (David) of North Hampton, NH, Chad Burgess of New London, Kevin Hogan of San Francisco and Katie White (Jared) of Charlotte, NC.; her great grandchildren, Sampson, Elliotte Hopkins, Gabrielle, Joseph, William Ciccalone, Brielle and Chloe White; her sister Priscilla Bell of Alabama; her siblings-in-law, Carol Kirker and Arthur Goulart; and her niece Kathy Coon. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
