She is survived by: her children, Gwen Malone Rice and Matthew Miles Malone; her brother William "Boyd" Loflin; her cousin Maurice Boyd "Buddy" Loflin; and her grandchildren, Brighton Leigh McShane, Sadie Rose and Samual Miles Malone. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, please honor her love of animals with a donation to the Owl Rescue, Freedom First Wildlife Rehab Inc in Waterford, CT.
