She was predeceased by: her husband Roland B. McGuire; her parents, Sylvester Walsh and Josephine Walsh (Reardon); and her brother William M. Walsh. She is survived by: her sister Maureen Jeffries of New Bedford; her children, Barry McGuire (Phyllis) of West Hartford, Mary Jo McGuire (Jim Robinson) of Seminole, FL, Brian McGuire (Rachel) of New Bern, NC and Ann McGuire (Patrick Leahy) of Cleveland, Ohio; and her grandchildren, Michael Rubinstein (Brandi Dufault) of Gainesville, FL, Ryan McGuire (Danielle Sarra) of Plainville, Sara Dominiak (Richard) of Collingswood, NJ, Sean McGuire of Stamford, Nora Leahy (Elliott Campanallie) of Lakewood, Ohio and Seamus Leahy of Cleveland. She is also survived by relatives and friends on Saturday (Jan. 5th) from 11:30 am to 1 pm at the Thomas L. Neilan & Sons.
The family suggests that donations in Kay's memory be made to two non-profits that were especially dear to her heart: the NL Community Meal Center or the Southeastern CT Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence (SCADD), which was founded by Kay's brother.
