He was predeceased by: his parents, Katherine Traphagen (Thompson) and James Traphagen; his sister Patricia; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Prophet of Paso Robles and Susan Traphagen.
He is survived by: his brother Gary (Kathie Kovalik); his cousins, Tom, Lorrie Wieczorek of Waterford and Jane Clark of Old Lyme; his friend Linda Bettencourt; and also Tina. He is also survived by his two nieces and his nephew.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Thomas L. Neilan & Sons Funeral Home (12 Ocean Ave, New London, CT 06320). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks if you wish, to donate to St. Jude's or Connecticut Humane Society.
