George T. Phillips Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George T. Phillips (New London, Connecticut), born in Derby, Connecticut, who passed away on January 27, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James and Mary Phillips of Argalasti; his wife Irene Phillips; his children, Dorothy Vamvakides (Nick) and Carl Speaks (Donna); his grandchildren, Kirk, Phillip, Chris Vamvakides, Shanna, Justin and Sonya Speaks; and his siblings, Nick (Georgia Fillipou), Peter Phillips of Greece, Alexandra Botchis, Serago Marianou and Georgios Fillippou. He was also cherished by 9 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services and burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery were private due to Covid concerns.
