He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Eugene Carroll Stone and Willie Mae Cox Stone; his wife Althea; his children, Jeanne Ramu, Eugene Carroll Stone III (Terry), Sue Turner, Mae Stone and Melanie Stone; his grandchildren, Chris Wright, Tim Wright, Joshua Turner, Hannah Turner and Sarah Turner Powers; and his great grandchildren, Megan Wright and Carly Powers. He was also cherished by five children, five grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
