He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Roger Tobey and Wilhelmena Tobey (Coombs); his spouse Gail Brown; his children, Ernest Jr., Kevin (Terry), Eric and Courtney Tobey; his siblings, Roland (Yvonne), Paul (Patricia), Robert, Miriam Rocket (Willie) and Erdine Atkinson (Ken); his sisters-in-law, Law Jane Brown, June Brown and Lucinda Barns; his daughter Dorothy Hamlin; and his grandson Joshua M. Tobey. He was also cherished by 16 Grandchildren and numerous Great Grandchildren.
