The passing of Eleanor J. Satti Butler (New London, Connecticut) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 29, 2024 at the age of 93. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. C. John Satti and Dorothy Satti (Heffernan); her daughter Elaine; and her sibling Atty. She is survived by: her husband Harry J. Butler; her children, James (Debra) of New London, Colleen McLaughlin (US), Brian (Rosemarie) of Hollywood, FL, Patrick (Tricia) of Superior, CO and Michael (Laurie) of Moodus; and her grandchildren, Brendan, Devon, Erin, Ella, Kaitlin, Alyssa, Ryan, Sean, Justin and Daltyn. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thomas L. Neilan & Sons Funeral Home (12 Ocean Ave, New London, CT 06320). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Church (17 Squire St, New London, CT 06320).
Donations in Eleanor's memory may be made to the New London Community Meal Center and to the Resident Council Fund at Beechwood Nursing Home in New London.
