He is survived by: his spouse Martha; his children, Elisabeth Sweet (Jeffrey) of Sharon, MA, Edwin III (Francine) of East Lyme, CT and Jonathan (Jane) of Boston, MA; and his grandchildren, Nathaniel, Anna, William Sweet, Samantha Sproul and Morgan Sproul.
