He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Nicholas Pero and Ellen Pero (Sullivan); his wife Mary Pero; his children, William Pero (Maureen) of New London, Patrick Pero (Bobbie) of Salem, Robert Pero (Dora) of New London, Judith McAuliffe (John) of Cincinnati, OH, Colleen Pero of New London and Anthony Pero Jr.; and his siblings, Robert Pero and Theresa Pero. He was also cherished by 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
