He was predeceased by: his parents, William Koenig and Lillian Morrissey Koenig Smith; and his brother Ray Koenig. He is survived by: his sisters, Gladys Koenig Perez and Marlene Koenig Jones; his daughter Kara Koenig Fedak; his son-in-law Matthew Fedak; and his wife Judith Reed Koenig.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either The Wilson House or as a contribution to an education fund to benefit Monica Fedak. Contributions can be given directly to the family or through the funeral home.
