He was predeceased by: his parents, Hurlies Moye, Sr. and Arlena Banks; and his daughter Katrina Moye Lamping. He is survived by: his wife Lillie Mae Barber Moye; his sons, Gregory Lewis of New Haven and Walter Moye, Jr. (PeeDee) of New Haven; his grandsons, John Turner, Jr., Anthony Moye of New Haven and Anthony Lamping, Jr. of Texas; his great grandchildren, Aviana Turner of New Haven and Neili Turner of New Haven; and his sister Agathe Bush of New Haven.
Viewing was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Colonial Funerals (86 Circular Ave, Hamden, CT 06514). A celebration of life was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at the Hamden Plains Cemetery (86 Circular Ave, Hamden, CT 06514).
