Vincent left this world on January 17, 2025 at the age of 80, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Marottoli and Florence Marottoli (Ricci); and his in-law Richard Slattery. He is survived by: his spouse Roz; his children, Vincent R. Marottoli and Maria Kavanaugh (Kevin); his grandchildren, James, Alexa, Fotis and Roseni; his in-laws, Dr. Richard Marottoli (Denise Acampora), Ralph Marottoli (Donna), Charlotte Scimone and Neva Slattery; his cousins, Gail (Ricci) and Jim Cooke; his friends, Cifaldi, Asselin, Carranza and Cremin; and his caregivers, Gail, Ainsley, Yale New Haven Hospital, Saif and Caroline. He is also survived by extended family including his niece, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc. (11 Wooster Pl, New Haven, CT 06511). A Mass will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Michael's Church (29 Wooster Pl, New Haven, CT 06511). A burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Center Street Cemetery (1 Center St, Wallingford, CT 06492).
In lieu of flowers, charitable memorial contributions can be made to The New Haven Preservation Trust, Center Street Cemetery in Wallingford, or the Integrative Medicine Services Fund at Yale New Haven Hospital.
