He is survived by: his children, Angela Wright (Henry) and Samuel Ratchford Jr.; his girlfriend Theresa Arrington; his siblings, Marylee Brown, Carol Wright, Pearl Ratchford, Donna Ratchford, Shirley Ratchford, Christine Ratchford, Elizabeth Ratchford and Harry Ratchford of New Haven; and his grandchildren, William Young and Stevon Turner. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
