With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert George Chambers Sr. (New Haven, Connecticut), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 14, 2025 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Richardson and Frank Chambers Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Debra Chambers; his children, Yashika Chambers, Lashana Chambers, Robert Chambers II (Margo) and Shaquann Chambers; and his grandchildren, Ra'Nyah Douglas, James Johnson Jr., Xyaire Johnson, Kamiye Chambers, Ja'kye Johnson, Arayah Chambers, Shaquan Chambers Jr., Robert Chambers III and Romel Chambers.
Viewing will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethel AME Church (255 Goffe St, New Haven, CT 06511). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at the same location.
