She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Veiga and Maria Veiga; her husband Stephen W. Monaco; and her brothers, Charles, Joseph, Alfred Veiga, Manuel and Jose Lima.
She is survived by: her sisters, Elaine Marreiros of Hamden, Virginia Puzzo, Georgiana Contento, Cristina Raposa and Gilda Lima. She is also survived by her 4 sons, 4 loving daughter in laws, 4 granddaughters and 5 great-grandchildren.
