Richard L. Saunders Obituary
We bid farewell to Richard L. Saunders of New Haven, Connecticut, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 30, 2024 at the age of 90. Richard touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rubin Saunders and Mary Saunders; and his stepson Mark McFarland Sr. Friends. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine; his grandson Mark McFarland II; his sister Cleo Reid of Fl; and his godchildren, Robin, Michael Shaw, Crystal McPhail and Tanya Jones. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Beulah Heights Church (782 Orchard St, New Haven, CT 06511).
