He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Flanagan and Rita Flanagan (Cronogue); and his brothers, Eugene and John Flanagan. He is survived by: his wife Francine Flanagan (On); his children, Kevin Flanagan (Joey) of Guilford, CT, Melisa Flanagan of Portland, OR and Pamela Flanagan (Robyn Creswell) of New York, NY; his grandchildren, Leah Flanagan, Ella Flanagan, Henry "Bird" Case Flanagan, Saylor Creswell and Nico Creswell; his brother James Flanagan of East Haven; his sisters-in-law, Georgeanne Flanagan of New Haven and Joan Flanagan of Branford; and his cousin Mary Ellen Murphy. He is also survived by numerous nieces/nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home & Cremation Service (43 Kirkham Ave, East Haven, CT 06512). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the Greenlawn Cemetery (105 Tyler St, East Haven, CT 06512). A burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
