It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ramona M. Bivona of New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on November 15, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Ramona departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Ramona. Though Ramona may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Carmen Lydia, Hermes and Rafael Melendez. She is survived by: her husband Anthony Bivona; her children, Antoinette, Maryanne, Joanne and Anthony Bivona, Jr.; and her siblings, Maria Thompson, Carmen E. Alvarez, Emma Melendez and Angela Rodriguez. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc. (11 Wooster Pl, New Haven, CT 06511). A Mass was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Michael Church (29 Wooster Pl, New Haven, CT 06511).
