She was predeceased by: her parents, Stella Ellis and Milton Ellis; her husbands, Felix Chappell and William Harris; her siblings, Olive and Milton Ellis; and her children, Kevin Chappell, Tamara Chappell-Becton and Michael Harris.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Chappell, Darea Chappell, Maurice Harris (Roberta) and Felix Chappell. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church (136 Dixwell Ave, New Haven, CT 06511). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Martin de Porres Church (136 Dixwell Ave, New Haven, CT 06511). A burial was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at the Evergreen Cemetery (769 Ella T Grasso Blvd, New Haven, CT 06519).
