She was predeceased by: her parents, James Peters and Leaus Jackson Peters; her husbands, Nathaniel Boykin and Emmanuel Thomas; her stepmother Curly Peters; her children, Terane, Jermaine, Anthony, Terone and Gary Thomas; and her siblings, James A. Peters, Jr., Nada Treadwell Green and Alberta Peters Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Denise Gaston (Bruce) of Manchester, CT, Steven Thomas of Windsor Locks, CT, Shirley Thomas of East Hartford, CT, Charlene Minniefield (Eric) of Manchester, CT and Darrell Thomas of Bloomfield, CT.; and her adoptive children, Jerome Brooks, Leslie, Weslie and Patrice Flippen. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Henry L. Fuqua Funeral Service.
