It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria T. Santaella (New Haven, Connecticut), who passed away on December 25, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Ernesto Santaella Jr.; and her siblings, Irma Calderon and Luis Rivera. She is survived by: her children, Luis E. Santaella, Edgar E. Santaella (Denise) and Dagmar I. Santaella; her siblings, Griselle Falú and Ida Calderon; and her grandchildren, Sarah Santaella (Leuris Hernandez), Samantha N. Santaella, Nickolas E. Santaella, Dhanniellie Freeman Santaella and Harmony L. Santaella. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, siblings.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Star of Jacob Church (506 Howard Ave, New Haven, CT 06519). A burial was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM and from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM.
