She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert L. Brown and Nancy Jane Mooring Brown; her siblings, David Brown, Donald Brown, Oranton Gray Brown, Mattie Belle, Helen Durham, Pearline Moore, Mary Galloway, Dorothy McNeil, Mamie Ruth Coleman and Geraldine Brown Denby; and her children, Marian Woodson and Eric Woodson.
She is survived by: her husband Carl Woodson Jr.; her grandson John Corbett; her children, Diane (Randy), Carolyn (Cheryl), Kwame (Shannon), Gary and Alice; her adoptive daughter Rose; and her siblings, Martha Conyers and Ronald Brown of New Haven. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
God has smiled upon Lula and showed his favor towards her life; Lula survived Breast Cancer and survived the Covid-19 Global Pandemic!
