Loretta Elliott Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 16, 2025, at the age of 71, Loretta Elliott (New Haven, Connecticut) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mothers, Hannah Hemingway and Danielle Hemingway; her sisters, Patricia Hemingway Reynolds and Thelma Hemingway Martinoli; her sister-in-law Brenda Hemingway; and her brother David Hemingway, Sr. (Loretta).

She is survived by: her son Lorenzo L. Hemingway, Sr. (Jennifer); her sister Rose Hemingway Hearns; her sister-in-law Willa S. Hemingway; her grandchildren, Lorenzo Hemingway Jr. and Deja Hemingway; her great grandchildren, Bryce Lee Hemingway, Linden Trevon, McMillan, Marley Ren Hemingway and Monroe Jancie Hemingway; and her nieces and nephews, Marilyn Hemingway Bolden (Gregory), Erica H. Hearns, Shelia Hemingway, Elizabeth Hemingway, Eric Hemingway, Christopher Hearns, David Hemingway, Jr. (Monique), Danielle Hemingway Davis, Robert Hemingway, Jr., Myla Allen, Breana Hemingway, Taylor Hemingway, Gabrielle Hemingway, Shamar Hemingway, Sharon, Nicole Hemingway and Aria Davis.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at 411 Grand Ave, New Haven, CT 06513.
