She was predeceased by: her close friend James Anderson Lester; her children, Laponja Davis, James Davis, Jerome Davis and Karen Davis; and her grandchildren, Keyonna Davis, Tyonna Brown, Cameron Zowine, Zy'mere Jennings, Xander Davis and Ke'John Jones.
She is survived by: her mother Cleratha Franklin of New Haven; her sisters, Felicia Franklin and Michelle Franklin (Shane Franklin) of New Haven Ct; and her nieces and nephews, Vonda Franklin, Wilica Franklin, Kayla Franklin, Ariana Franklin, Willie Franklin, Calvin Franklin, Randy Staggs, Melvin Davis and Shane Franklin Jr.. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
