She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Perry Owens Sr., Leatha Owens of Poughkeepsie, NY, James Walker Sr. and Carrie Walker of New Haven, CT.; her uncles, James Walker Jr., Jerome Walker, Perry Owens Jr. and Eddie Owens; and her aunt Bessie Whitfield.
She is survived by: her parents, John Owens and Elaine Walker; her siblings, Sherita Hodges of West Haven, CT, LaRhonda Walker-Allick (Darrell), Juvonna Owens of New Haven, CT, John Owens Jr. of Newburgh, NY, Sean Higgs of Poughkeepsie, NY, Jermaine Brown and Johnathan Brown of Atlanta, GA.; her niece Darriell Allick; and her nephew Darrell Allick Jr.. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Trinity Temple Church of God in Christ (285 Dixwell Ave, New Haven, CT 06511). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
