She was predeceased by: her spouse Attorney Alfred J. Onorato; and her parents, Samuel Abate and Elsie Iacobacci Abate. She is survived by: her daughter Stephanie Schweitzer of Avon; and her grandchildren, Dylan and Alexa Schweitzer of Avon.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Spinelli-Ricciuti Funeral Home (62 Beaver St, Ansonia, CT 06401). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Rosary Church (10 Father Salemi Dr, Ansonia, CT 06401).
