He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry Comfort and Elizabeth Comfort (Dortche); and his siblings, Stephanie Perry, Pershing Comfort (Spanky), Michael Comfort and Dennis Comfort.
He is survived by: his daughter Meghan Kaminsky of West Haven; and his sister Deidra Comfort (Dolly) of Jacksonville, NC. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
