James R. Brown Obituary
The memory of James R. In the vast expanse of eternity, James shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid James farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kathleen Brown Moore and William Wilson; and his sister Doris Jean Washington. He is survived by: his wife Jennifer J. Brown; his daughter Teresa A. Bailen; his siblings, Bobby Brown (Paula), Bishop Milton Brown and Laforrest Hammond; his grandsons, Ricardo Bailen and Ryan Bailen; and his great grandchild Tabbatha-Lynn Bailen. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Matthews Baptist Church (400 Dixwell Ave, New Haven, CT 06511). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Beaverdale Memorial Park (90 Pine Rock Ave, New Haven, CT 06515).
