He is survived by: his children, Jahmari and Allyna (James); his grandchildren, Dreisen and Langston Heath; his siblings, Rosie Mae, Patricia Erkerd, David Jr., Robert and Willie Joe Erkerd; his niece Antoinette Erkerd; and his nephews, Christopher and Cameron Erkerd. He is also survived by cousins, relatives and friends.
A burial was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at the Ct Veterans Cemetery (317 Bow Ln, Middletown, CT 06457).
