Gertrude Acquarulo Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gertrude Acquarulo of New Haven, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 7, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Gertrude is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Gertrude's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her husband Andrew Acquarulo; and her siblings, Angie Civitelli, John, Frank and Salvatore "Bucky" Langella.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert and Andrew Acquarulo (Pamela); and her grandsons, Dr. Blake Ann Acquarulo (Josh LaSalva) and Alex Ann Acquarulo (Alexander King).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hamden Hall Country Day School (https://www.hamdenhall.org), where a scholarship in her memory has been established.
