She was predeceased by: her parents, James Forbes and Jerleen Kizer-Smith; and her sister Cheri Forbes-Richardson. She is survived by: her sons, Antione Ward (Tamiya), Rychaud Jones, Dejuan Ward, Ramsey Samuel and Jeremiah Samuel III; her pet Dallas; her siblings, Edwin Sheppard and Veronica Green; her nieces and nephews, Rayna Green, Jessica Forbes, Lepersia Failey, Heaven Failey, Dwayne Watkins and Edward Sheppard Jr.; and her sisters, Janean, Alicia, Delana, Cicily, Nikki, Stephanie and Toni. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Glorified Deliverance Church (604 Dixwell Ave, New Haven, CT 06511). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
