She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas A. Chadwick; her parents, Sylvester Barker, Sr. and Josephine Barker; her sons, Gernard and Bernard Chadwick; and her siblings, Lincoln, Louis, James, Sylvester Jr., Phillip, Matthew, Otha, Mildred and Vera Mae Barker.
She is survived by: her son Vouise "Vice" Fonville (Darlene); and her sister Lessie Askew (Cecil). She is also survived by six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews.
