He was predeceased by: his mother Doris Day; his siblings, Doris McBride, Ralph Day and Albert Chambers; and his nephew Ronnie Daniley.
He is survived by: his wife Shilet Jennings-Day; his siblings, Sondra Day, Doreathea Daniley, Rita Day, Claudette LeBlue, Vincent Day, Anthony Day and Harold Day; his nieces, Diane (Joe), Darlene and Vivian; and his nephew John Daniley (Hazel). He is also survived by relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Howard K. Hill Funeral Services - New Haven (1287 Chapel St, New Haven, CT 06511). A celebration of life was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the Beaverdale Memorial Park (90 Pine Rock Ave, New Haven, CT 06515).
