She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Williams and Virginia Collins Williams Benjamin; her husband Jack Wesley Avery; her siblings, Inus, James, Dave, Peter Benjamin, Charles Williams, Trusslee Williams-Blunt and Inez Wilson; and her sister-in-law Cleo Benjamin.
She is survived by: her children, William Avery (Ann) of New Haven, CT, Robert (Trellis) of Lilburn, GA, Rose Cope (Willie) of Lawrenceville, GA, Mozelle Avery-Owens (Leroy Owens) of West Haven, CT, Leroy Leak and Yuatinia Lewis (James) of Overland Park, KS; her siblings, Frank Benjamin and Virginia Jackson; and her sister-in-law Amanda Benjamin (New Haven). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren;14 great grandchildren; _8 great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
