She was predeceased by: her husband Horace Lawhorn, Jr.; her parents, Jack Aldrich and Mary Knox Aldrich; and her siblings, Geneva Hammonds, Thelma Lawhorn, Alberta Perry, Ted Aldrich, Bill Aldrich, James Willie Aldrich, Jasper Aldrich, John Aldrich, Bobby Aldrich and Franklin Aldrich.
She is survived by: her daughter Robin L. Wilson of New Haven; her sister Loretta Moore of McBee, SC; her close friend Lillian; her daughter Kelsey Snedeker of Waterbury; and her caregiver Lawuo K. Joe of Bridgeport. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Martin de Porres Parish (136 Dixwell Ave, New Haven, CT 06511). A celebration of life was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 12:45 PM at the St Lawrence Cemetery (280 Derby Ave, West Haven, CT 06516).
