He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Mann and Hazel Mann (Gover). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Mann (Zaremsky); his children, Lisa Johnson of West Haven, Jeffery Johnson (Stacey), Joseph Johnson (Stacy) of Rockledge, FL and Michael Johnson of East Haven; and his grandchildren, Evan, Becca, Jeffrey Jr., Ashley, Sara, Jessica, Jenna and Brittany.

“Sympathies and prayers to Patty and the family. I am saddened by Carter's passing but I will treasure all the memories we 1st cousins had over many years. Memories of picnics at Grandma and Grandpa Gover's. Hiking in the woods behind Aunt Hazel's house with Ernie, Carter and my brothers and sister. Cousin gatherings at my sister's house when we southerners came up to visit. Patty I pray that your memories will stay close to your heart and give you comfort. Rest in Peace Carter.”
