She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Bell Sr. and Lucile Dace Bell; her siblings, Andrew Bell Jr., James Bell, Artis Leon Bell, Mary Alice Bell Randall and Queen Esther Pippens; her husband Vannie James Sr.; her sons, Rivera James and Michael James; and her grandson Andre James, Jr..
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Whitney and Denzel; her great grandchild Amiyah; and her children, Carlton Bell Sr. (Cathy), Vannie James Jr. (Deborah), Ronald James (Maria), Andre James Sr., Jeannette James and Wanda James. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Curvin K. Council Funeral Home (128 Dwight St, New Haven, CT 06511). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at the Evergreen Cemetery (769 Ella T Grasso Blvd, New Haven, CT 06519).
