In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Bernardo had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Bernardo may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his wife Adriana Lora of Vargas; and his parents, Daniel Vargas and Carmen Mercedes Vargas (Subervi). He is survived by: his children, Carmen Vargas (Gerardo Amador) of Harrisburg, PA, Monica Vargas (Kashif Inayat) of New Haven, Omar Vargas (Kimary Kulig) of New York City, Bernardo Vargas of Chicago, IL, Daniel Vargas of New Haven and Dario José Vargas (Flor Pimentel) of Meriden. He is also survived by four sisters, six brothers, ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home (4 Washington Ave, North Haven, CT 06473). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
