Arthur Curtis Bynum Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Arthur Curtis Bynum (New Haven, Connecticut), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 3, 2024 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Bynum Jr. and Mamie Ormond Bynum; and his siblings, Dorothy Barfield, Ruby Rouse, Willie, Eddie, Ernest and Charles Bynum.
He is survived by: his siblings, Reverend Lubertha Hill, Blondell Bynum, Beth Bynum, Isaiah Bynum of Connecticut, Leon Bynum (Patricia) of Connecticut and Leotis Allen. He is also survived by three sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Varick AME Zion Church (242 Dixwell Ave, New Haven, CT 06511). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Ct State Veteran's Cemetery (317 Bow Ln, Middletown, CT 06457).
