He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Floyd DuBois and Rebeckah Rutter DuBois; his siblings, Eugene DuBois and Rebeckah DuBois Glazebrook; and his wife Roberdeau C. "Robin" DuBois.
He is survived by: his children, Anne R. DuBois, Brooks DuBois (Mary Salerno DuBois) and James E. F. DuBois (late Desca Duncan DuBois); and his grandchildren, Laura B. DuBois, Brooks Michael DuBois and Marian DuBois.
